GIMP *mastershade version*

The reason I have not been on Graphics Code this whole time is Linux, I have been busy installing, and learning how to use the Terminal, and installing, and debugging, to make it just right. I'm running Fedora, and I was just about to say, "well, time to load up photoshop", when I realized like a train hit me. Linux does not support .exe, in other words, no photoshop. But I found Gimp lying around while I was checking out the OS's folders. So, now for the big question.

I need a simple tutorial on Gimp. A good, simple, concise, but very detailed tutorial on how to make a Signature in GIMP. Kinda like this one, which I learned from...
