Project Builds Visual System Based on Biologic Processes

The brain performs very complex computational tasks when identifying what is being seen by the eyes and modern computer vision systems come nowhere near that ability. Scientists from Harvard and MIT are working on adapting computer graphics processors to this specific task in an attempt to reverse engineer some of the characteristics of biologic visual systems.

Cool! well just yesterday a friend from south america showed me a project of two students from argentina, it was all about biologic visual systems as you move your eyes the mouse on the screen does, thanks to a free software from these students and just the year before that they had made the same thing in the same college but moving your head, this was especialy made because one of the students family members was totaly paralizaed and could only move his eyes.
