Good animator
Hello all. I was looking for a really nice free GIF animator. I'm currently using Microsoft GIF Animator. This is nice but it does not give support for importing other file types like PNG. I'm making emoticons so this would really come in handy. Please help.

Well, I just use Fireworks, but the thing is, you will need to draw up each frame by itself, so it can be time consuming. Though, it has great results.

Re: Good animator
I use PS's animator as well.
Have you possibly tried http://lunapic.com ? I'm not sure if it will allow it, but it's worth a shot.

Well thanks guys. What Photoshop ver. are you using. If CS3, then how did you get that window. Any tutorials?

Re: Good animator
I use ps cs2 and cs3, to get the animation window you go to Window on the top bar and go down to animation.
Re: Good animator
Adobe Flash CS3 is a good animator, but I don't know if it is good for emoticons.
Well, can't you copy/paste for each frame? I've heard about people using this for forum awards (I work on forums a lot), but I never really looked into how it works.
If it allows copy/pasting, just copy the original image and pase it into each frame.

Yes but I only have a very old version of Fireworks. And I draw up all my emotes in Photoshop anyways so thanks. I made a few but these were so time consuming...
