PHP-SQL Anyone?
Hey People!
I am learning PHP and SQL these days. So, I just wanted to know if there are any PHP programmers on this site? Does anyone know or have worked on a dynamic website? Or anyone else learning PHP?
I've learned the basic till now

No, no. I'm just a beginner, sort of like you. If I have ever used php, it has been for the smallest of things, so I'm not much use when it comes to that.

Re: PHP-SQL Anyone?
I learned some php by force thanks to running a radio station, and the fact that the request pages are dynamic. That also leads my forced learning of SQL since the songs names, paths and ID's are stored in an SQL Database. I disliked trying to set up my own MySQL server, with php, and apache, but I got it done. I used Linux and found that the package Repositories are the best way to set up LAMP
Im still learning php, and still trying to learn SQL commands. Also being careful since one webhost deactivated my hosting account several times because of that. So I host it at the studio instead.

I don't really know if I should postpone C++ (again) to learn PHP...
its always better when u have a learning partner...
I have a site up that supports PHP, MYSQL, Ruby, and stuff!
I can make u an FTP account...and we could learn together!
Re: PHP-SQL Anyone?
I've been using PHP and MySQL for about 8 years now. I mainly code mods for phpBB but I know how to do my own scripts and stuff.

Re: PHP-SQL Anyone?
I know a bit of PHP and MySQL. However, just like "Admin", I have usualy relied on tutorials and snippets. The most I've done without using online help is a small calculator that uses $_POST values to grab the input.
I rarely touch SQL and when I do, I just use PHPmyAdmin to create them for me. I usualy don't use commands to create tables and rows. Instead, I hand make them.
My PHP and SQL usualy don't interact either.

PHP is a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages.
